A rare piece of Dr. Martens history, these vintage Southerner boots were built in England during the early 1990s, when the brand was still producing its iconic footwear in Northamptonshire. Designed as a rugged steel toe work boot but embraced by skinheads, punks, and boot collectors alike, the Southerner has become one of the harder-to-find Made in England models. The combination of a 10-eye silhouette, steel toe, and original BEX sole gives these boots a commanding presence that stands apart from the standard 1460.

This pair is crafted from rich oxblood rub-off leather, developing deep burgundy tones beneath the black finish for the classic worn-in look that only vintage Docs can achieve. They retain their original Made in England BEX soles with excellent tread, original heel loops, and show beautifully preserved leather throughout. The Southerner line has remained sought after by collectors, even inspiring a modern revival by Solovair, the original manufacturer of Dr. Martens boots under license.
