This is one of my favorite styles of boots, but I have enough of them. Along with the most of my favorite boots, I switched out the original black-painted eyelets for slightly larger brass eyelets.

1919 Doc Martens boots from the early 90's stand out for their exceptional quality. The 10-eyelet design provides enhanced ankle support and a higher profile compared to your standard eight-hole boot. One of my favorite features is the thick, durable, black, full-grain leather, not to mention the steel toes.

The yellow double-stitched welt enhances durability and adds a more striking visual element than the single-stitched welt. They feature the signature “AirWair” soles, renowned for their superior cushioning, slip resistance, and durability, thanks to the Goodyear welt construction that combines stitching and heat-sealing. These features make the 1919s highly sought after for their ruggedness, comfort, and iconic style.
